Café Kuyl, a brown pub 21st century, inspired by the beer house 'Kuil van Schiller' (1854-1907). Usually, the worlds of ‘de hoed’ and ‘pet’ were separate, but in the Kuil van Schiller, it was a friendly gathering of sailors, stockbrokers, citizens, traders, and representatives. Today, nothing has changed. With pride, Café Kuyl takes up what Schiller once started: bringing worlds together.
